Slcorp or Keystone Securities a fraud

Hi,

Do not deal with a company that use Slcorp or any similar usernames - they will also contact you as Keystone securities from the USA.

This fraudster register an account, goes through the whole verification process and send payment via Paypal - then do a chargeback as soon as they sent their text. They also accept and sign the anti-spam agreement and then spam the routes. In January 2013 they used a web site http://www.stlcorp.org/ne/uk/index.php which was some lotto site - I noted that it has been taken down. When clients use Paypal we require photo identification and they sign our electronic processing form but with Paypal the money is immediately returned regardless of the evidence you submit as they see text / SMS as digital goods and you do not qualify for their seller protection. The required photo identification has been provided and the form signed which did not send red flags up with us. As a result of this we are considering removing paypal as a payment method. This type of fraud seems to be on the increase.

When we contacted the client and advised that their account has been blocked due to a spam alert, they claimed that they went to work and when they returned home they had no credit left in their account. Our logs indicate that the same IP addresses have been used as during registration and the client did not follow our advice to change their password in the system once we allocated the account.

Anyway, please look out for this - upon investigation we noted that the 5 test credits we initially issued was used to Nigerian numbers - what worries me is that these guys nowadays have photo identification of people in the USA so most likely identity theft involved as well. One would never know, I guess.......

Italia SMS Europe SMS proof of payment fraud

Italia SMS also known as Europe SMS - our contact was a guy by the name
of Gian - sent proof of payment without funds arriving in the bank
account. This leads us to believe that they provide false proof of
payments. Full statement of 5 years has been drawn and presented to
client requesting an explanation or settlement of the outstanding
amounts. We received an excuse that banks have been changed but after
that no communication for 3 months. Please look out for this Italian
and it is advisable to make sure funds arrive in your account before
allocating credits. We are still willing to resolve issues and clear
this complaint if he settles the outstanding payments or at least
communicate with us. After 3 months of non communication from their
side we can only assume that they are not willing to resolve this issue.

Fraud towards Agreegators

Be careful from the companies contacting you, asking you to terminate SMS to the following networks:
Antarctica, Sweden Tigo, Greece prefix 6914 and to MVNO in Mexico(I do not remember the name)

*Sweden Tigo has no subscribers
*Greece prefix 6914 has no subscribers

Miraculous, the SMS sent to this destinations, end up to Germany E+.
If some of you have cheap E+, that is the reason.
They have a cost of 0.01 EUR, why not sell it at 0.034EUR?

The Senders are mostly German.
The scam is that they change the Destination, so the aggregator is selling something like 0.01 EUR to the 'client', but he ends up paying 0.07 EUR.

SMS scammers now onto Paypal users

Hello All,

Please watch out for the following M.O.:

This crowd sign up for SMS service and tells you they do managed sends.
Then they buy small volumes between 20-50 Euro at a time using different
email addresses.
When you ask about the different email addresses they claim it is to
refer to the client that they are sending for.

No later than a week or so, they disappear and the chargebacks from
Paypal starts. When you present your case to Paypal they refund no
matter what you submit. Two people contacted us and stated that they
did not do the transactions. In the mean time you loose the money they
paid, and they sent SMS which means you paid your supplier. Paypal
refunds every time and you sit at a loss. They seem to do this for a
week or two and then disappear. We advised the people that contacted us
that they should immediately ask their credit card company to change
their card and contact details as these people obviously sit with their
credit card details which they use to do these transactions.

The so-called "clients" appear to give false addresses from destinations
like Malaysia. They used the following usernames to register:
abolasso
bobbydean1
walkingdal
jbless4

We can give IP addresses but chances are that they send from different
locations all the time.

Breytenbach family / Allied consultants South Africa

Hi,

These people from Sophia Town in South Africa orders SMS, send proof of payment from Nedbank and demand 50% upfront.  When they get their 50% they use the credits asap and we suspect that they then either stop the payment or never paid in the first place.

When you try to contact them they disappear and most likely trade under another name.

Please ONLY add credit when you receive funds in your account.

Yahia Kurdi - sms scam

Hi,

Please avoid Yahia Khurdi from Syria.  He does the same thing where he gives you a route to test and the moment you buy they either block the route or it just does not work.

Lots of apologies excuses and aparently they are constantly upgrading their server but the bottom line is that even though they agree to give money back, they do not refund and 2 or 3 months later you still cannot use your credits.

When you phone he is never available.

They also use support@it2sms.com

Web sites to avoid is tartous-sms.com and  ciedco-sms.com - they offer reseller deals etc. but I am afraid that if anybody should get the service we got from Syria they are in to loose a lot of money.
